By downloading, installing, or using SnapSafe ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
SnapSafe is a mobile application that uses on-device optical character recognition (OCR) to scan food labels and provide ingredient analysis, including safety scores, allergen detection, and dietary compatibility information.
SnapSafe is an informational tool only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always read the actual product label yourself. If you have food allergies or sensitivities, always consult with your healthcare provider.
While we strive for accuracy, SnapSafe's analysis depends on the quality of the scanned image and the completeness of our ingredient database. The App may:
A "safe" score from SnapSafe does not guarantee a product is safe for you. Cross-contamination, manufacturing changes, and unlisted ingredients can affect actual product safety. SnapSafe is a supplementary tool, not a replacement for careful label reading.
SnapSafe offers a free tier with limited daily scans (currently 3 per day). Free features may change at our discretion.
SnapSafe Pro is available as a monthly ($3.99/month) or annual ($38.29/year) auto-renewing subscription. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.
New Pro subscribers may receive a free trial period (currently 7 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but may apply upon renewal. We will provide notice of price changes.

All content, features, and functionality of SnapSafe (including our ingredient database, analysis algorithms, design, and branding) are owned by SnapSafe and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPSAFE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, ALLERGIC REACTIONS, OR HEALTH CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE APP'S ANALYSIS.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapSafe, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
